Final Paper You must label each section clearly by color: 100pts Due__4/27_____
Section 1: Blue Intro. Define your focus and purpose. What are you researching and why are you doing it? This section will act as a thesis. You may briefly discuss some of the upcoming sections.
Section 2: White Information, Facts, Data. Discuss the facts and background of your topic. Provide essential information on your topic. You should include facts, reports, and statistics. This is your opportunity to discuss to discuss any information an average reader might not realize about your topic.
Section 3: Black Negative. Use this area to judge your topic in a negative way; what are all of its problems? What is wrong and why it is wrong? Who or what does this topic affect? Evaluate the impact of this problem on society.
Section 4: Yellow Positive. Use this area of your paper to discuss your topic in a positive light. Even though your topic is a problem, you should look for any good that may come from this problem. Make mention of how much public awareness this issue may be getting. Are there any groups that have formed to help people deal with this issue; if so, what are they doing?
Section 5: Green Creative Solutions. In this part of your paper you need to report on or come up with any creative ideas that deal with your topic. You should not focus on obvious solutions, but investigate solutions that seem ultra-inventive. You really need to do some searching here. “There’s no creative solution to this problem” will not be an excuse. What are your creative thoughts?
Section 6: Red Conclusion. How do you feel about this topic now that you have researched it? Now you can have an informed opinion instead of just an uninformed one. Keep in mind that the former is always better than the latter. This is you chance to tell the reader how you feel or how this problem has or will affect your life. This should be a developed section of at least 7 sentences that says something substantial not full of cliched statements.
